So I think I'm finally over my shootfest blues. Although any time I see something posted up by the ladies I went there with, my heartstrings tug a little. Missing them like crazy still. But hopefully it will not be the last of our adventures.
Speaking of shootfest hotties, please go give Fische's new set, 'Songbird' some uber lurve!! That girl has an ass to die for. She is also one of the loveliest people I have met in time and she deserves to go pink after all her hard work organising the shootfest and bringing it together.
I should have some info to come soon regarding my sets. I'm so excited to see the finished results and can't wait to be able to share them with you all.
Going back to work wasn't exactly a barrel of laughs. Lots of major changes are happening and it's putting a lot of people on edge, which isn't great when you work in mental health. 3 people have been fired recently and one, a very good friend to me in this job, handed her notice in with immediate effect today. Which put me on a downer. But you just have to keep your head down and carry on. It's a job at the end of the day. And I do love it. Mental exhaustion quickly sets in though.
WHICH is why I'm taking this weekend off, and taking my home girls Vicky, Maria, and lesley to RESISTANZ FESTIVAL this weekend, and I'm going to drink, dance and be so very fucking merry! So much vodka, weed and sex will be had. Guaranteed! Now Resistanz isn't really my bag mussic wise but I have some amazing friends who are performing on the bill with their bands:

Saturday is the day for hanging out with two of my favorite guys. Jamie is my old upstairs neighbour and has a solo project, ESA. However, this weekend sees him with the mighty ivardensphere, This band are so techy and grimy it's dirty fun all over.

Saturday sees the return also of my bestie, Elliott, playing keyboards with his band Aesthetic Perfection. Cannot wait to hit the vodka again with that guy and irritate the living fuck out of him with my sarcasm and accent. ^_^ love him deeply. <3

Have also been asked to Interview bands at Ghostfest 2013 at Leeds university again this year, for GOTHESTRO RADIO. Last year I stepped in for a friend who was ill and had a total blast. This year will see TheDevilWearsPrada, Terror, The Acacia strain, Iwrestledabearonce and Odessa, to name but a few announced, So stokeed. Also possible interviews coming up with some pretty big named bands! I'm so blessed to have friends like Jo and Graham who, not only support my path here on SG voraciously, but also offer me amazing opportunities like this one.
I'm gonna throw some pics up of my week soon, when my phone decides to play ball and upload. It snowed so heavily here, it's unbelievable. My dog is loving it. Me? Not so much.

Your god-daughter and pup are so cute! She's so little and sweet looking <3 Sorry I'm taking so long with your set. As I (and apparently everyone else) edit them in order of shooting, it may be a week or two before I get round to it! Sorry
