I actually want to come down this summer. Mostly it's a cost issue, and me being torn between SD and SF, which are rather far from each other. I want to visit both but I don't know if that's possible without a car.

I'm looking to visit friends from the site. You're in SD (I think) and Necia and Subrosa are in SF (along with a few other friends). I guess I can always make separate trips...

Is there a train or something that goes from SD to SF?
