And now I interrupt my utterly shameless self promotion to bring you an important message...
this past weekend I had drill...and, if you recall, immediately after 9/11, ppl were buying up flags to put on their cars so fast that stores could not keep them in stock. I remember feeling so frustrated, disgusted and flat out pissed about companies turning a horrific event into a capitalistic venture. I also remember being pissed about the fact that it took 9/11 for ppl to want to proudly display an American flag on their vehicle. And of course, I was pissed because I knew that 6 months later, the flags would go into some dusty tool box in a garage located somewhere in American Suburbia to be forgotten about. WEEEELLLL...what does that have to do with anything right? Well, Saturday, I was on my lunch break, sitting in a Wendy's and saw a car drive by with a flag attached to the window. It made my soul smile a bit to see that every once in a while, that can still be spotted, regardless of the current political situation of the world. Reminds me why I joined the Army and makes me proud to be who I am. So, thanks to the unknown drivers who don't need a terrorist attack to display their flags.
and In other Cheyenne news, still coming to a member review near you.....
I will end this with one of my favorite artists..yet another selection from Cheyenne's collection of Feel Good music...Do it just cuz it makes ya feel good!!!
