tomorrow morning i start the long haul to texas..the middle of no where, texas. can you sense my enthusiasm? i'm gonna stop in L.A. though...i feel the need to hit up Melrose ave. one more time before i leave. I'm a bit sad to be leaving cali though. i love this state so much and i have made some really rockin friends here that i just don't want to leave. I'm one of those types that doens't make friends very easily but the ones i do make, i keep for life.
I went to say goodbye to my old chinese teachers and my old classmates...my favorite teacher made me cry like a lil bitch, too. She is by far one of the best teachers i have ever had. I got her this little gift.. A pink stuffed TY puppy dog...she always called me "pink lady" because i always wore pink when we could wear civilian clothes and well, i love my doggies!!!!! She handed me an envelope and told me to open it later...said it was for me to get some thing to eat and get some snacks for Elvis while on the trip...she said it wasn't much but she wanted me to have it... well, i knew there was money in the envelope but i burst into tears when i saw four Fifty dollar bills in there. she gave me two hundred dollars to help with my moving expenses and i couldn't argue because she wouldn't let me open it in front of her. Not that i necessarily need the money, but no one has ever done anything like that for me...well, and not expected something in return. She truly touched my heart and soul with that gesture. damn...i feel that tight wad forming in the back of my throat again. It rocks my world to know that there are people outside of my immediate family and my fiance that care that much about what happens to me. I am just blown away. i'm still sitting here now, as i write this, in a state of shock. She said she had faith in me and expected great things of me in the future....I won't let her down.
