Wow... can't believe it's been so long since I logged on here... I hate it when RL sucks all my free time away! But I have some good news this week, after a month of searching I finally found an apartment to move to at the end of the month! So this means I won't have to move back to CT to my parents' basement! Woo-hoo!
Not much else going on here. Saw Maria Full of Grace a couple days ago. Very touching story about a poor Columbian teenager who gets pregnant and then takes a job as a mule carrying heroin pellets in her stomach into the US. Frighteningly realistic and pretty intense at times.
Oh and did anyone else happen to see The Village? I'm curious as to other people's reactions, since I thought it was pretty lame. There was a semi-interesting idea within the storyline but it just seems like something was totally lost in the execution. All the friends that I've talked to so far agree, so I would especially like to know if there's anybody out there that actually liked the film!

I haven't seen the movie yet, not even it's trailers. I'll go check it out.
Anyway, I'm glad you're still around. We should hang out sometime soon.
I had a bit of trouble with Howards acting. I won't mention her burdon, you'll know it if you've seen it, but I wasn't fully convinced. I think, thought, that my problems could have only been solved in a fashion that made the movie slow right down. That is to say that I'd have to believe that she'd take more time doing things. But, like I said, that may not have been her fault at all. Other than that, she was really great. Held emotions for, like, EVER!
I'm secretly in love with Pheonix. I think he's one of the best out there right now. I also love that he was Gibson's brother in Signs. I think they really look related.
I had the "twist" figured out pretty close to the start. There's a good hint right almost from the beginning.
I find it strange that, seeing it a second time, it will be a completely different movie. I guess that's the way it is wish Shayamalan movies.
The music, by the way, was one of the best film scores I've heard in a very long time!
Boys Rule! Girls Drool!
