Well the glamour of living in Las Vegas is starting to wear off. Once you are off the strip its the same as any other big city. I did not get the apartment I was told I would get. The lady was in the hospital and could not move out in time. I'm am still in the same complex. Now instead of a view of the strip I have a "really nice view of the mountains" if you stretch and look around the balcony you can see them, but for the most part you see the trailer park next door.
I'm just about unpacked, did a little decorating, making this place my own. Once my money was released from the bank I went out and got a new entertainment center and matching end table. Now I just have to upgrade from an army cot to a sofa and I'm set.
Sprocket is also getting used to things. He did not like walking the stairs at first but after some forcing and coaching he learned it was going to be something he would have to accept. Now he goes up and down with ease, sometimes dragging me down with him. He even gas his own bathroom.
The new shop will take some getting used to. Some of it is just learning to do things a different way, not necessarily worse just different. However there are some methods and ideas that I cant agree with, I don't see them as very professional. One reason I was sent out here was to gain experience, helping me move my way up. However I feel like I know have a baby-sitter who will do everything for me and keep me in the dark about the goings on of the company.
I just keep telling myself give it a year and see what happens, but at this point I'm ready to go back to my old shop.
I will update this with some pictures.
