I really wish the holiday seasons would get better for me. Ever since my family has been "rearranged", most holidays just are not the same anymore. I can't remember the last time I had a tree or decorated. Now I don't think I have missed out on anything from not decorating but I do miss doing it. I miss not having a Christmas morning. Yeah I knew one day that it would no longer be my sister and I waking up early to see what was under the tree, yet I never new it would be like this. Waking up alone, no gift exchanges. I hope that one day I can get back into the swing of things with a family of my own. Sitting with my wife, watching the kids open their gifts, the tradition starting all over.

I work with some really cool people that don't let me spend holidays all by myself. I was invited to dinner at a co-workers house. He and his family even had a few gifts for me that was really unexpected. In one aspect it was kinda hard to see them all together as a happy family and me not to have that. However at the same time my life is beginning to seem normal to me, like this is the way its supposed to be.

Ok now for something a lot less depressing. I seem to have met one hell of a chick. This has the potential to be a great relationship. Unfortunately she is away for the time being. I can't wait to see her when I pick her up at the airport. I'm sorry for anyone who wants to get a hold of me that night, I'm going to be a little busy
