Good luck with the band. Every time I try to get something together, there's generally a variety of reasons to not progress. The first and most obvious is that I only know so many people that would be interested, and even then a fraction of them know how to play an instrument. This last time it came down to me on vocals and a friend on bass. We were about to put up ads and shit with our musical/personal preferences, but then we just got wrapped up in school. Any how, good luck with it.

old school--it provides so much fun and oppurtunity for a "Fuck You!" attitude. I love it. You should check out some of local Dallas hardcore bands. Darc Marc and The Balls Out Gang seems to be "our" scene's favorites. I know they're all on Myspace. hahaha.

I love Where Eagles Dare! They came through and played a punk/hardcore show in Dallas. Jaesyn, the singer, was totally cool and me and 2 of my friends were kicking it with him the whole night. I look forward to seeing that band in Dallas again.
Anyway, any guy that'll hit a chick willingly is less than a man and should not be respected. It's good to hear that your friend at least enough humor for himself in his situation. Laughing it off is the best thing. That, or a good ol' fight.

Yeah, I would like to know the inner workings of my car because I'm sure the wonderful people involved with VW just like to monkey around with things and never really fix cars. Maybe it's just a Montana trend.
I totally forgot to mention that in my Six Feet Under reference, this guy was choking himself with a belt-suspension contraption and the lemon wedge fell out, and thus he choked to death. That show always starts off with somebody dying.

Nice. I hate computers. The one I'm on right now, my dad's, is pretty damn sweet/fast with a great video card. The one I use for college however, is seriously lacking in the whole "not so fast, out of date video card" department. I tried to get my parents interested in going half-in on a custom built tower via a couple friends of mine, but I lost too much interest in really pressing the issue to them.
my computer is skrewed its my hardrive so once i get a new one in the mail, i'll have to call a technician out to help me with it. atleast its still under warranty. been on the phone for 3 times, in 3 days and atleast 2 hours for each phone call. but atleast now its gonna get fixed.

I'm looking forward to some Christmas shopping. I guess it's just the fact that I get that "warm and fuzzy feeling inside" when my friends and family are pleased with the gifts I gave them. I'm not looking forward to dropping as much money as I usually do on the holiday gifts, though.

As for the band, no, we don't have anything to check out yet, we're just putting the whole thing together. It's still in the songwriting phase now. My old band used to have some mp3s up, but our webspace account ran out, so our website has been taken down.
