uuuuuuummmmmm okay, random new shit!! Since my last post the band has played a couple shows, one at the atria on the 13th and one at the durham college pub last friday. The atria show was wicked. It was Cody's first show with the band, and we actually made some money. We played with Viva Mars(formerly The Nonchalants) again, those guys are always cool to play with. The show at the school was a sort of battle of the bands to see who gets on Backrow Records, the MBM programs label at the school. So far people have been telling us that we were on of the best bands to play, but that may be because half our band is in the MBM program, so we're not getting our hopes up to high. It was hella fun tho, we got this portable diving board and painted it up, and at the end of our set Cody stripped down to a speedo and jumped off it into the crowd. I'll see if I can get a picture of that soon. It was fucking hilarious. We managed to sell a bunch of the shirts I made up for the show, they were just cheap ones that I grabbed in Toronto on Spadina then spray painted with a YBYL stencil, but they looked pretty cool. That and they were $2, we aren't really trying to make money at this point, just play shows and have a good time.
Sunday was spent at TDE Music here in Oshawa, recording our song Police And Robbers. Matt Goodliffe, The guy that owns it is an old friend of Cody's and recorded it for us for free! Which is awesome because we're all pretty broke. I can't wait to hear the final mix because it sounded fucking awesome by the time we finished Sunday night. Matt is a fucking wizard in the studio, and probably made us sound better than we actually are. Really, if you want some recording done fairly cheap and live in the are check him out, he's awesome to work with. Apparently he also does tons of other shit too, not just recording, seriously, TDE Music, check him out.

Now that I'm finished shamelessly whoring out my band and our friends I'll shut the hell up cause that's the only interesting stuff that's been happening in my life lately.
