*Sigh*
Today was supposed to be so many things, instead... it was just rather glum. Thanks to not finding out my shifts to the last minute I wasn't able to get something sorted out to promote Amnesty's Greetings Card Campaign which I'd hoped to do today, it being Human Rights Day an' all.
So I knew I was going to go up to London to visit my grandad as he's just had heart surgery by the middle of last week. But, I then preceded to leave it to the last minute to try and sort anything else out, and strangely enough at this time of year texting people on the way into London possibly wasn't the brightest idea! I, rather selfishly, needed to see someone I knew would put a smile back on my face. Alas, it was not to be.
My grandad's doing ok though. He's improving, although still very frail and confused by things. Up until recently he's been completely on the ball, mentally, I'm hoping his lack of understanding at the moment will only be temporary. Possibly harsh but I'd prefer to see him just go out like a light then slowly deteriorate, he's always been so strong and proud.
On a completely unrelated, and more cheerful note, I've decided to take up ballet again, hopefully to start in the New Year I shall have to stop smoking for this one to really work though!

Sorry I didn't come out missy, Friday night and yesterday have taken it out of me
