Well I succeeded in getting my shoes! Then got caught in the rain, so obviously that meant taking refuge in the pub and talking for god knows how long. Rach nearly missed her train wed got so carried away!
Went to see Ice Age 2 in the evening, was a bit disappointed really. Although maybe it was partly because I was slightly distracted by the little kid who kept kicking my chair and his dad who had the most disconcerting laugh!
I spent Sunday sitting around reading and enjoyed a very nice roast diner, with Lemon Meringue pie (homemade, very yummy!). I went to see Love That Kills in the evening although I nearly forgot my way round Ashford! It was a late start due to the promoter messing up but it was good to see them again.
My granddad came down yesterday and it must have been the first time in a long while that we didnt get war stories! Perhaps it was because we got distracted with the cheery subject of death and euthanasia! I made my chocolate desert for us, although it did get a little stuck to the ramekins this time it was still yummy.
Rented the constant gardener last night as I never got round to seeing it at the cinema. The Ben and Jerrys ice-cream was too tempting so Rob and I got one each which we both managed to finish I ended up feeling a little bit sick, unsurprisingly!
Ive also found time to watch Nathalie , and L'enfer over the weekend (both with Emmanuelle Bart in). Im hoping to gradually get through my dads world cinema collection but it grows faster than I get to watch them!
Looks like Ill be celebrating Rachs 21st by going out for drinks, although Ill be doing most of the drinking! Im not entirely sure what are plans are yet but no doubt itll be fun!
