"It's December and it's fucking sixty degrees outside. This can't be good for the environment. I mean, birds are coming back and they're all fucking confused. 'Yo dude, what's with this wack weather? Shouldn't we be waitin' til March, yo?' That would be if they were part Mexican, but they probably are, since then spend every winter in Coca Cabanna. Yesterday, I went skating in a tee shirt. If I did that this time last year, people would have thought I was crazy and I probably would have died. What the fuck is with the weather?"
That's a quote from my friend Keith when he was ranting about the crazy weather last December. He had a repeat of that rant a couple weeks ago when the temperatures stopped hovering around freezing. It was hilarious, so I had to tell you that.
I'm so happy the weather isn't shitting anymore, you have no idea. You can finally walk around outside with a hoodie on without freezing your tits (or balls) off. It's amazing.
The nice weather led to me walking around the city taking pictures while I waited for Nate to get out of work. That was an amazing day.
Two times this week (and two days in a row) Nate and I had to bail Gary, Tom and Kara out of trouble. It find it hilarious that Nate and I are seen as the responsible ones in our circle of friends. It's not that us being responsible is far fetched, we're just the ones that actually care what happens and want to help.
I stole one of Nate's hoodies from his room the other night because I was cold. The hoodie is wicked warm and heavy (i think it adds about ten pounds to me) but it smells like him. It's a mix of his Axe cologne and tabacco smoke and those two smells make me relaxed because they remind me of him. It's a good thing.
On Saturday I broke my Claddagh necklace. I was so pissed. I showed Nate and he said he could fix it for me, so now I just have to wait. We both seem to be too busy to find time to get around to fixing the necklace.
Nate is so sweet. On Sunday he told me he thought we weren't spending enough time together and that we was going to turn his phone off for a day and spend time with me. Today will be the third time we've spent time together (just he and i) with minimal interruptions from other people.
Two of my sculptures went into an art show at the Manchester School Board building. Nate and I went last night and walked around looking at the different artwork from the other schools. He loved mine. He wants to take one of them to put in his room. he told me he was proud of me for working so hard. That made me feel great. I don't get a lot of praise for my art, so it's always wonderful to hear words of praise from someone you love.
It's been a long time since I've been on here and this is a lengthy post so I'm going to head out.
