Yesterday, to sum it up, was amazing. The only sad part is that if my best friend discovers the details of that night, she will either A) disown me, B) rip my throat out or C) never speak to me again.
See, I was hanging out with Nate for most of last night and Jess happens to have met Nate a few years ago and introduced me to him last year. She likes him, a lot, and Nate doesn't exactly like her the same way. He finds her confusing and doesn't want the kind of relationship with her that she wants with him. Apparently, neither of those things apply to me.
When Nate picked me up, we were going to go to his house, listen to music, smoke a few cigarettes and wait for Keith to call us. Instead, we just went to pick up Keith. We finally got Justin and then we drove around for four hours to kill time while we waited for Jill to get out of work.
We were in Nashua and we drove by a few kids who we knew were smoking a bowl. It went something like this ...
Keith: are you guys smoking a bowl?
confused kid: no.
Keith: come on, we know you are. let us get a hit.
confused kid: we're not smoking.
Keith: sure, you're not.
We drive away and then ....
Keith: BASTARDS!
We're about half a block away from them when we see the spark of a lighter. Keith yells "LIARS!" out the window. Nate turns around and Keith searches in the back of the truck for something to throw at them. He finds a phone (the kind that has the cord attached to the reciever and then the loooong cord that goes into the wall also attached) and Keith and I switch seats. He rolled down the window and threw the phone at them screaming "IT'S FOR YOU!"
Funniest.
Shit.
Ever.
Nate, Justin, Keith and I were laughing so hard. It was fucking great.
We went back to Nate's and Jill came over after she got out of work. We smoked three bowls together before Jill took Justin and Keith home. I stayed at Nate's for a while longer. We went up into his room and listened to some vinyls and then ... we kissed. We never went farther than that (well, not too much farther) but it was amazing.
Sitting in his truckin the driveway, we had another bowl together. Nate drove me home and on the way, he talked about mushrooms (his dealer told us he was getting some very soon) and how he wanted me to try them with him. It felt awkward being in the truck with him after kissing him, but I lived through it. Not to mention that I was stoned silent.
Now on to today ...
My step dad's two daughters, their kids and their boyfriends came over. There were a lot of people, a lot of kids and ... I didn't want to be around any of it. I missed most of the holiday fun. Aaron called me from Brian's, claiming he was stranded there and needed a ride home. So I went to pick him up. And I almost rear ended some asshole who didn't know where he was going and some chick who was tailing me almost rear ended me in the process. It was ridiculous.
My step dad got a jacket from his daughter that doesn't fit him, so he gave it to me. It fits perfectly and I love it. I got an awesome lamp from Dale (his younger daughter). It took me a while to hang it up. I had to bust out the ladder and the staple gun but I got it up. And it's friggen bright.
I'm cold and I want to watch a movie my mom bought the other day. Lady in the Lake. Has anyone seen it? Is it any good? Eh, if you do tell me, I'll have probably already watched it before i get your message/comment.
