I can now add muralist to my long art resume.
I spent the cold and chilly ours of 8:00 am to 12:30 pm at a Dunkin Donuts in Manchester painting the front windows with a Christmas scene with my sculpture teacher and about five of this other students. It was cold, freezing even, and the wind didn't help at all. The perks? Free coffee, free donuts, free pizza for lunch and the wonderful words customers and employees gave us as they walked by. It was absolutely freezing but I'm glad I did it. Those of you who live in Manchester should stop by the Dunkin Donuts on Webster and Beech streets and go see our handiwork. It's worth the trip because it's amazing. Nothing heart stopping, but good all the same.
After I left there, I went down to the mills and river and did some photography work. I was so glad to get back in my warm car. There was a couple down there walked their dog, but they didn't stay long. I called Jess to see if she was home, but no one answered the phone. I'll get a call later tonight and she'll ask if I'm still out. Probably. Maybe. Ah, doesn't matter. After I left the mills, I went to a cemetary to finish the photo work and almost got hit by some asshole who wasn't watching where he was going.
And holy shit it's really windy. I can hear the wind beating against the house. I'm so glad I'm not outside anymore. That would suck majorly.
Last night my step dad decided to go to the mall and wanted me to drive. I had to drive some 10 miles down the highway in the rain and wind. Then when we left, the rain had gotten worse and it was thundering and lightning out on top of the pouring rain. I was nervous. And he was all "cut people off! Make them nervous!" I think he's insane.
I bought new 2 guages last night at the mall. They're pretty. Clear with blue glitter at the ends. I'm happy I bought them. I got a new purse too. It's black with different colored stars all over it.
It's gotten suddenly cold in here, the paint covering my hands is annoying, and I feel like watching tv.
Peace out cub scouts.
