Back to school on Monday! This spring semester is going to be jam packed. 4 classes and 1 Internship for a total of 17 credits! Between school & work I will only have one day off a week for the next four months. Whew! Sunday’s are going to be MY day! Thankfully, my classes are done by the afternoon so I’ll still have some time free during the week.. but most of that will be filled with class work anyway! Hehe. I can’t wait though!
I am the most excited about my ASL Internship. I’ll be working as a teachers assistant for ASL 101. This will help me learn to teach and more importantly reinforce my own skill with sign language as I continue on with ASL 201 (level 3). Especially seeing as how my teacher I will be working with is Deaf, so I will have no choice but to sign! She is an incredible teacher and who better to learn the language from?
There are some other exciting classes, of course. My major is Psychology with a minor in sociology, so I tend to highly enjoy most of my classes. (: Other than another math class.. boo!
After getting my Associates Degree back in 2017 and flopping my first semester at ASU, I took a 5 year break from college. I started going back in summer of 2022 and stayin strong! I’ll have my Bachelor’s Degree by the end of 2024!! Yay me! Then.. onto the Master’s!
