is celebrating another birthday & adoption anniversary with my sweet boy, Elvis. Our birthdays are just a couple days apart and I happened to adopt him the same week too! He is going to be 11 years old and we are celebrating 6 years together. 💚 I haven’t always been a big fan of my birthday, but Elvis makes it so much better and focusing on giving him a great day is what I look forward to. He has had some health problems these past two years and in November 2021 the neurologist told me that he might only have about 6 months left. I was distraught over the thought of losing my best buddy and knowing he had a tumor in his neck that was causing him discomfort. Making it to a now second birthday after that diagnosis makes me so happy! We love to camp, hike & spend time by the water, so we will be taking some sort of adventure at the end of the month. I can’t wait! (:
I am hoping to get a few more years with my bubs. With his increasingly old age I want to make sure we spend our time wisely and give him plenty of lovely memories. 💚 We are both so happy spending time together, I swear he’s the thing that keeps me going in general.. and especially around this time of year! Cheers to Elvis & another year. 🎉
