I went car camping for a weekend at a cannabis festival here in Arizona! It was a pretty good time :) Spent the time just me, myself & I cus ain’t nothing wrong with going somewhere & doing things alone. Enjoy yourself! No sense in missing out in something you’ll have fun with just cus you may not have someone to go with you, right?
I packed lots of snacks, some lunchables, uncrustables & water of course (plus some Snapples). Downloaded some movies on my iPad for at night when I was ready to cozy up & before I go to sleep. Walked around to check out the vendors, got some free joints, free weed & some free dabsss from some dab bars they had goin hehe. I was looking forward to some live music they kept advertising but sadly they didn’t even play any ALL DAY! Like what the heck? Bummer. But! I had my little speaker for when I wanted to jam at my campsite and at night they played movies in the baseball field with the projector so I hung out, smoked, ate some snacks and enjoyed Pineapple Express (of course) the first night and How High the second (of course again).
Can’t go wrong with movies in the field - was probably my favorite part of weekend. Other than the animals! Which was the other most exciting & entertaining part of the whole shindig. The fest was held on a ranch so there was cows (eee!), horses, deer (which I called reindeer but was immediately corrected and informed they were NOT - who knew they’d get discriminated against if they applied for the job? Sheesh), anywhoOo- there were pigs! & a big ol’ turkey, a llama!! Omg my favorite. Plus - A peacock, peahens (did you know that’s what the female is called?) and the best part.. a BABY PEACOCK oh my goodness it was the cutest littlest itty bittiest thing I was in love. No one else was paying attention to them or checking out the pasture and the pens, I can’t understand why like.. HELLO there’s animals. ??
I got a nice amount of sun, it was a beautiful view & I even saw a double rainbow on my drive in! Was a great way to kick off the weekend. Chatted with some cool people & got to take a break for a few days to be a lil stoney pony without a care in the world which is always nice haha. I’ve been busting my butt with school & getting all A’s, so I think I deserve a day away here and there. 😀
