things i did today
-woke up in a bed alone
-ate a tofu and peanut butter sandwich
-cringed at the thought of having to "talk" to someone who, earlier this week attempted to dump me via a text that contained the term "86'd"
-got dressed
-walked to coffee shop, listening to the distillers on replay, on the highest volume possible, realising that i need more angry punk music onmy ipod
- ran into (previously mentioned "someones" and mine) mutual friends
-dragged them to the coffee shop
-completely avoided/delayed awkward/uncomfortable conversation/hysterical crying and someone even bought me a latte
-wandered into my local bike store to replace my tube, to also find out that sf critical mass was today
-got a very positive phonecall from potential employer
-attended my first critical mass, which went all the way up to twin peaks(ide never been there before) and was very proud of my hill climbing abilities
-realised that my bike has no brakes and therefore i would have to walk all the way down that stupid hill
-got a little lost but made it to market st safeway, where i got some tortilla chips, and saw a guy who i bought drugs off not so long ago, but decided not to buy any now based entirely on the fact that i now had only three dollars to my name
-rode a few blocks to the tenderloin to find a hot/sweaty/angry/lesbian/punk rock show where cover is five dollars
-cute girl on the door lets me in for three, and there is lots of headbanging, screaming, moshing and stagediving. im stoking
-return home to gorge on tortilla chips and hummous, and to chat with my drunk housemate about how she got dumped the other day. thank god im not the only one!
