Hello babies,
This homework theme is simple, but for people who love music and have a repertoire of diverse styles, it's so hard ( hahah).I feel an indecisive person when it comes to music, because I am from moments despite having musical styles that I always listen to and can not miss as: Rock, Jazz, Blues and MPB.
I chose as a criterion for theme song, something that I hear since childhood.
But my song of my choice was: The Great Pretender, from the North American vocal group The Platters.
A wonderful group from the 50's. He was formed in 1953 in Los Angeles, singing Doo-wop - R&B - Soul - Rock and Roll.
It was hard to pick a song from them because I definitely love all the songs and they all remind me of my childhood. My parents, and my maternal grandfather have always enjoyed international music, but my grandfather has always liked classics and songs of this kind. That is, this kind of music is already rooted in me.
This song is about faking feelings, about someone who can hide them by smiling. It may seem sad, and it can make a lot of sense to me. But every time I listen, I feel a sense of tranquility, happiness, a desire to dance, nostalgia, and a sense of belonging to music.
For those who never listened, listen to her hahah
Kisses dear people.
