welll was brought to my attention that my last pic looked a bit sulky, so heres a new one, just look slightly demented now!
All fairly quiet here, 10 more days of "head down" before my lil London trip, pretty much confined to barracks until then ... might try get myself out in Manchester this weekend for a little retail / booze therapy. ah well (London) be worth it when i get there! Catch up with a few friends, hit Camden and do a bit of shopping, and am actually going to a gig while i'm there, Evanescence, my friend is mad on them and wanted company .. arena rock really aint my scene, but it will be chance to goth it up a bit and have a laugh
I miss living in the city, been here in nowhereseville for 2 and a half years, nice place you know, cool people, ever so quiet, but dull and with working from home i sometimes feel like i'm on a desert Island. Before we moved here i had lived in Manchester for 8 years, in an around the city centre, life was cool and i loved it, but then my lil one came along and the 3 murders within a mile of my house within 6 months kinda freaked me out so i hit the panic button and here i am.
The other thing that sux is not DJ'in anymore, i quit my 5 year residency last year because i was sick of not having my weekends, everyone was off travelling and havin fun and i was the girl with no weekends, the clubs since closed and i've had a few offers of work since but nothin that i've really wanted to do .. miss it though, my 15 minutes are over and baby's stamping her feet!
Nice to get the chance to dance for a change though, fave club at the moment is the Krazy House in Liverpool, Saturday night in the K3 is well funky .. cheesy mash up of nu-metal / hip hop / punk / funky stuff and pop, not many places that can follow up Old Dirty Bastard with The Strokes then Dirrty by Xtina, but they pull it off .. and its loads of fun with no attitude which rocks.
and now, Ms. 666 needs to do a lil work, need the cash, i got my eye on some pants in Cyberdog, They shall be mine!!
