I'm overwhelmed at the response to my retrospective in my last entry. I didn't expect to get quite that reaction. I wish I could get back to everyone who left some thoughts but unfortunately I am just ridiculously busy right now.
Which, leads me onto my next point. Many of you know I begun to shoot sets in film. So far you haven't been able to see any of them. As of yesterday, the second set I ever shot on film is up for Member Review. I am really proud of it, so I thought I would post about it here.
I hoped that I wouldn't post about every single set in member review that I photographed, but I think sometimes I am just so proud of something that I need to tell you. Hopefully this doesn't get too repetitive. But please, go take a look and let both Archie and I know what you think by leaving us a comment.

It's backwards at the moment (so view it in reverse!) and Archie hasn't been too active yet but this is all because she's away from home. She's such a sweet little thing, and really excited to be here, so please say hello! She just doesn't have the internet access until next week to get involved in things, but I know she will!
Some of my favourite photos:
I could post a lot more than that because I really love this set. Ha! I'm really quite anxious about my sets on film being "accepted" here because I adore working with film and I think it brings something unique and different to the site, and it has a more organic and raw feel that I find I personally can't create with my digital photos.
Onwards to news...
Moira is here (she also has a new set so go take a look). She is one of my best friends in the whole world. I really do adore her so much. She has brightened up my world considerably here and we have been having so much fun catching up (after nearly a YEAR) and generally just laughing about things that most people wouldn't laugh about with me.
I adore her, because much like me, she has her serious moments when it's most important and then she can be just outright silly and funny and I love that.
She's here for three weeks and I feel so incredibly lucky to have her here for this long. I'm trying really hard not to think about the day she has to go home...
Matthew took this polaroid of us and I adore it. It summed up her first day here so well. Ah... it's so beautiful to share life with people you love.
