There is this person in the building across from me whom I occasionally watch. They sit behind their half-closed blinds at a desk with a light behind them. Even in the day they are completely silhouetted. I often wonder what fun they are up to and if they are working or simply doing stuff on the internet.
People watching is the only activity that really seems to hold my attention for any length of time. I'll often sit in the window and watch all the people in their cars making up stories for where they are going and what they are doing.
It all started when I was 12 and I used to sneak out of my mother's over-ruled home and sit in a farmer's field on top of the hill. I'd watch the nearby motorway (similar to a large dedicated freeway or highway). Occasionally a train would run along the mainline that linked our little bit of English countryside to the cities; most notably London.
Some things never really change. People are still busy going places and coming home and I am still fascinated by them almost 15 years later.

Proper update tomorrow, I hope. Today is so busy.
