To answer a few of questions:
1. Did you do the special FX?
Yes. Yes, I did.
2. How long did THAT take?!
A long, long time. I think in total it probably took me around almost 30 hours or so, because all the effects were drawn and tweaked by hand individually on every single photo. No, I'm not crazy, while copy and past and reusing elements would have been much much faster and easier I decided that the set really deserved this special attention and the effect just wouldn't have been the same had I not put the individual detail in. It's all in the details (-;
3. How did you do it?
That would be telling. Don't you know a magician never tells you how the tricks are done?! And yes, it was done with magic.
4. REALLY?!
Uhm. No. As much as I wish it could be done with magic, I'm afraid not. What I will tell you is that the effects are a mixture of techniques and I used Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and my Intuos 3 A5 Wide tablet as my main weapons.
5. Is that real snow I see?
(Yes I really did get asked this). It is real snow and it was damn freezing cold, despite how sunny it looks in the photos. Poor Nemesis had to be REALLY brave sitting in the snow and walking around with nothing on in a very public botanical gardens.
6. Why do you always use so much Photoshop in your sets?!
I don't, actually. Only what is necessary and perfect for each individual set.

Yuki was with us when we shot this set and she took some backstage photos! In these photos you can see just how damn cold and windy it was just by how many layers I have on:
Thank you to Yuki for taking those photos!
There's a funny story about that blue jacket I'm wearing too. Maybe I'll tell you one day... hahaha.

So, Please go and leave a comment on the set so Nemesis will see how amazing you think she is! If you've commented already, thank you; it means a lot to both of us!!
Go on! What're you waiting for? Go see the whole set and leave a nice comment!

Yesterday I finally took the time to do something for myself. After 6 months of having horribly growing out "green" bits of hair, I now have white and blue-black hair. I'm so happy with how it came out.
Afterwards I went out for tea with Tsui. It's so nice to live near her. I don't know what I'd do without her nearby anymore. She's the perfect little tea buddy and she really knows how to hate, too. Haha.

Talking of Tsui...

Thanks for all the feedback on my last journal entry and the prints I showed you. I've had quite a large response asking to see more of my Black and White film prints. So here are a few for you to take a look at. I hope you enjoy them...
I look up and I imagine the Future.
Sometimes I like it even when my hand prints get wrecked.
Clawing for the words to express how I feel.

I hope you're having a good June and that whatever part of the world you're in that the summer is warming you up and waking up to the birds singing is as bright for you as it is for me.
