We're finally moved, Oh man what a chore it's been though!
After multiple 45 minute trips and lots of bitten nails, We're here.
I would love to never see this again
Here's a quick before shot of the cabinets. They were so ugly I didn't even try to get a good picture, Not to mention they blind you.
It took about 3 weekends of sanding and paint stripping to get it down to where we could prime and paint.
The window was so caked with layers of paint it wouldn't open and shut right. Why someone would paint so sloppily I'll never know.
We plan to redo the kitchen totally, with the exception of appliances. the cabinets are having new doors made, Along with new hinges and pulls. And painted a nice white.We also plan to rip out the crappy paneling and try and salvage the walls or texture them. There is a brick chimney that runs in the corner of the kitchen which is being covered by paneling.Shagz thought it would be neat to expose the brick as well.
Since our kitchen is alot of coffee,bistro french stuff we've decided to repaint the walls a warm mustardy brown/yellow. As soon as I find the right color I'll post it.
*grins* We're also planning on painting both bedrooms and the living area. So as you can see I've been busy busy busy, But at least we feel like we're going somewhere ya know.
Scsi is adjusting well, Commando crawling all over the carpet as usual.

We did end up reciving our deposit from our previous rental, So we're hoping to add a privacy fence so Scsi can have a girlfriend!
Here's a couple of me, My hair is finally seeming to grow.
Shagz bought me the BEST fuzzy socks, You know the kind that feel like a giant teddy bear
*mmmm* I love them
I was reading a post about feet on the boards the other day and it made me think to take a pic of my tootsies!
I'm hoping to get gutters cleaned,pumpkins out and everything painted before snowfall, We'll see how it goes.
