Most boring Halloween ever. I went to class and did trig for 3 and a half hours. Then I went to sleep. Lame. Oh well, I've never been that into Halloween. I'm not outdoorsy enough to Trick or Treat.
I need new musics. I've been on another Ani DiFranco kick but you can only listen to 'Dilate' so many times before you start to get angsty. I don't like to be angsty. I like to be chipper! ^.^ ish... yeah...
I need to make an angry grrl mix. Some SleaterKinney and Throwing Muses to perk me right up! Maybe even some Letters to Cleo. Anyone remember them? I'm a nineties whiz kid! When I was in elementary school the only real thing my dad and I had in common was music so I got really into early 90's grunge rock and alt stuff. I still remember sitting on th floor in my room with one of those ittybitty kid guitars from the dollar store trying to pluck out 'Losing My Religion' and 'Love will Tear us Apart.' That era is still my favorite. Ah, memories.
So, I need some recommendations! What music or era or genre is special to you? Either by merit or memory? Anything I need to check out to get out of my slump?

I remember Letter To Cleo... I was in high school and during that period so apart from just being that age I think it was an exciting time for music that hasn't really been repeated again yet. I'm glad now that my best friend at the time made me go see Nirvana with him in '93. I wasn't really into them much then, but I like them much more now. I went to so many memorable shows back then but I think Nirvana and Iggy Pop are the most memorable to me. I got to meet Iggy! I couldn't hear a word he said but he seemed really nice

I worked from 9:00 until 4:00am. Not all that boring but definitely high on the suck factor.
