I just had to flee the photography section of the Barnes and Noble because of a creepy man! I'm usually very polite to men that hit on me, but this was insane.
He complimented the book i was browsing, "Helmut Newton's Playboy Photos" and i said, "oh yeah, i love helmut newton". He said he was a photgrapher and i asked if i posed, since this guy was creepy in a gut feeling kind of way I said No. He said I should and he asked for my number, i told him i don't give my number to strangers. He left me alone for a minute and then asked if he could sit down with me and the book. I didn't know what to say so I ok cause i didn't want to be rude and finished the book really fast and got up to try to leave. Before I could he offered to show me a 'really good pinup pose' I blinked and he actually TOUCHED me. Like put his hands on my waist. I freaked out at that point and said "Look, i have a boyfriend, leave me alone, I'm leaving now." and went over the framing place next door.
Why would anyone act like that. I was giving him the cold shoulder body language the entire time. Why does it have to be a "OMG NO MEANS NO" to get a guy to listen? AND WHY CAN"T I GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT BEING ACOSTED??? I think i need to start wearing a ring. Would that help?? RARRRRR!!! ::
Seriously, someone male explain this to me! I can't leave the house without my boyfriend or a big male friend with me, or some guy will say something, and it's ok to say one thing, or look, or be nice. It's another thing to push it when you know a girl isn't interested. I like attention, but i feel that the boundries should be obvious. It's not like refusing the phone number attack wasn't making a point that i wasn't interested. Had he left it at that I would have been flattered and went about my day. Fuckin Creep ::grumble::

I hate guys like that. They have no respect for women and think all women would be honored to have them pawing at them. Pretty sick.
