So what to write for my first SG blog post... It's a complicated decision. I know that I do not want this blog to look like a 13 year olds myspace page, despite popular demand, but I also do not feel I need to stick to a central theme. Since my first Deadjournal in.. 2000, I've been trying to write something that truly reflects who am I and have consistently failed, primarily due to time constraints.
This time, I'm not listening to anyone. I refuse to write any more inane 'Look what I did today!" posts ever again. This will be much more honest, because I am much more a creature of thought than of action. So without further adieu;
Once, long ago in a galaxy far far away, I used to get very excited about Fall premieres. I watched almost every new show at least once to get a feel for it, and was happy to pick a few favorites. Now, since most nights I don't get home until at least 9 or 10:00, all I watch is the Daily Show. I don't miss the premieres either because everything on network TV is inane. You know it's true.
But in the most recent round of new shows, one in particular has stood out, Studio 60.
I'm not sure if it is my love of Aaron Sorkin's unique cadence to his dialouge, which i've missed since the first few good seasons of The West Wing, before he went to rehab and the show started to suck, or if it's the inscrautable charm of Amanda Peet. What? Shes crazy hot. Sexiest eyebrows this side of Clara Bow. Wow.
Anyway, so far I'm not disapointed. All of the actors are excellent, even Matthew Perry. (I had no idea he could act!) The writing has, with only a few exceptions, lived up to what I expect from Sorkin, and It comes highly recommended.
I apologize for cutting this short, I had much more to say, but I am, unfortunatly, being forced to work. ;.;

melindab:
Amanda Peet is hot, however I have yet to see that show. I'm addicted to House and Lost.
