Life is pretty wonderful right now.
Being a member of the Boston chapter of the ISO (International Socialist Organization) is consuming more and more of my time-- but I feel very passionate about it, so I am enjoying it and getting a sense of accomplishment and productivity out of it. This week I brought 3 friends and an awesome contact I made on a paper sale to the meeting (week's topic- A Century of Slaughter: 100 Years of US Imperialism). I also made an awesome flyer for next week's Socialists and the Democratic Party meeting (the true history of the so-called party of the people, and bringing down the A.B.B ideology). Tonight we had a party to engage more people into coming to the Northeast conference in NYC next Saturday. Lots of fun.
My awesome friend Casey and I went to Cambidge a week ago and got our lips pierced. It is still healing, but I love it!
School is school--- midterms coming up soon--- definately have to make up for my lack of academic dedication in the coming week.
Went to T.T. the Bear's place last night and saw Ben Lee play. He had an awesome vibe and attitude towards life. In his last song there was a line about how people are strangers on the subway, which was something I had mentioned on the way there. An adorable sweater girl band from Canada, Pony Up was there too. One of the vocalists played an array of random ass instruments... including the cow bell! That is what I want! More cow bell! The Mittens, right from Boston, played too. Good times.
That is it for now. Have a wonderful day!
