Ah, alas, the thing that ruined it is one of my classic mood swings... basically, as I see it, the culmination of a few bad things typically outweighs the good.
1) Speeding ticket.
2) A return to my isolationist work-life
3) The apex of a number of financial strains (including car insurance, the cost increase due to the ticket, the cost of changing my living situation, and my tendancy to spend first and ask questions later)
My friend situation is fine, as things are on the up and up... that I am thankful for. Just moping, more than anything... heh.
As the last portion of my journal stated: "colon, colon, colon, colon, colon!!! "
