....sometimes life grants us beautiful fleeting moments. fate can throw very unexpected things our way that may not last long, but will never be forgotten...girl meets boy. I met a beautiful, kind man this weekend. He was only in town for 3 more days when we met, his home is an Australia. We connected so well and hung out every night that he was in Boston. Last night was his last night and we had a wonderful time together. It snowed and he was so excited as he had never seen real snow before. When it was time to say goodbye he held my hand and walked me all the way to the train. We both told each other how glad we were to have met, we kissed, and then we went our separate ways. I'll never see him again, and that's ok with me. But I know I'll think about that beautiful Australian man from time to time, and the memory will make me smile, and I'm very thankful for that

But enough about me! Yesterday was MLK day and thank god for that man!

What he did for the world was amazing, terrible his life ended so soon
"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity."- MLK
His work made a way of life possible today for so many people that was not imaginable decades ago. However the fight is still not over. There is far too much discrimination and prejudice in the world today, and it needs to end. If you're still racist, get the fuck with it please and realize we are all humans, all in this together and skin color does not make one person any different from another.
