Alright well I'm back around. Evidently the site had issues with my card so I guess my account was suspended for a couple days. I didn't notice any difference til the wife told me I got an w
E mail about it. It never would accept my card and I never did figure out why but I got paid up and am back.
I didn't have much SG time anyway as physical life has been a bit hectic and just down right weird. My mom was in Alaska for ten days ending Saturday. She had a great time but Sunday I get a call from her telling me age got engaged while she was there. That was a surprise to me as she has said many times since dad passed that she had no intention of getting married and that the guy she is dating needs to learn to live on his own. Evidently times have changed. My one brother knows but the other one is unreachable at sea. I don't begrudge her a new marriage and I have nothing against the new guy but it is unexpected and a big change. She is going to move into his house because it is set up for old people. The upside to this is that she wants me to take her house. I would love that if it could happen, bigger house, better school, nice neighborhood where everyone on the block has known me since I was twelve. It an exciting maybe.
Yesterday I was off. I took the car in to get brakes. Turned out I didn't need brakes but I did need $1400 worth of other crap. While I was waiting I got a call from the owner at work saying that he fired the kitchen manager that morning. I knew it was a possibility but it was a surprise. I an waiting to see how that affects me workload wise and money wise. Lots of meetings today that didn't involve me so I am waiting to tomorrow to see what's up. I don't expect much to change.
Lots of other family shit going on getting ready for back to school and what not. I'm out for now. Have fun SG.

but, seriously, good luck with the house thing.
It could be exciting.
I definitely need help with the menu. My fiance really wants a manly meal.
We are having an early afternoon ceremony and reception so I want things on the lighter side but filling.
We were thinking
steak and chicken fajitas, jalapeno tequila pasta, spicy bean less chicken tortilla soup, mac and cheese with bread topping for the children and little smokies wrappped hotdogs.
But now I'm thinking that's a bad idea with how little seating there is.
We are having a coconut cake with chocolate ganache and one tier of lavender cake with raspberry puree and chocolate ganache.
