I am over half way through the cooking deal. Everything has turned out well so far. The wife is a bit weary of waking up at quarter to five everyday but she is a trooper. Her desserts have been a hit. Tonight she made an applesauce gingerbread cake, it was amazing. I get a kick out of watching people eat. I like watching kids try new things and surprise themselves by liking it. I like watching old people try new things too. I like Chicagoans look of astonishment when they figure out that what I make for six dollars a person per day is better than what they payed fourteen dollars for at some place up north. I guess if I didn't get A kick out of that I would be doing something else for a living. The girls are having a crazy good time and I have only seen them blur be today except for meal times because the chefs girls can always get an early table.
