Yesterday was a day of sloth for the most part. I did a couple loads of laundry, cleaned out the fridge and did a couple loads of dishes. I made lunch for the wife so I didn't have to put on pants or leave the house. It all worked out pretty well.
After the wife got home from work we got hungry and then went to an amazing "new" Indian place for dinner. It is in the same place as our old favorite Indian place but the remodel makes it look totally different. The service was not good as autistic people do not make good or engaging wait staff. The Coke, even though I witnessed it come from a fountain, was flat and warm with very little ice as I have come to expect it from every Indian place I have ever been to. The food was intoxicating. Everything was excellent, the goat was tender the chicken sauce was complex and smokey the veg dish was creamy and nutty and just melted in your mouth. The breads were great and the rice was fluffy. The appetizer we got was basically tempura battered whole small green chili peppers. And the bonus was that it was as good as it was and we left there for less than fifty dollars. The other place we go for lunch buffet if you go for sit down dinner would have cost at least eighty bucks for what we got and it would have been all dumbed down american style. I can't wait to take the girls back there they will be excited to go to their old favorite place again. One other positive was that it was pretty hopping for a tuesday night much busier than the other place ever was. That is a good sign. We were the only non Indian people there but that will change as word gets out and it will.
After that we went for a drive. The wife wanted a custard to fill in the cracks so we stopped and got one then went to a park for a walk. The wife came home in a great mood and was swishy walking and rubbing and holding hands, it was a nice walk. It rained a bit which was part of why she wanted to walk around. At the park we witness an odd yet familiar site, two people that came in separate cars standing together arguing. We watched them for a while and then some kids came to skate at the park so they left. When we left we saw that they had only made it two blocks and were now parked on the street arguing. This sparked our curiosity. I figured them to be a divorced couple meeting on neutral ground. The wife had them pegged for an affair and that she was bitching at him to leave his wife for her. The wife suggested that we go back and ask them which it was but I didn't turn around. In college I had a girlfriend that liked to go argue in the park because you can't really argue in a dorm room. She didn't have her own car though which always made for an uncomfortable ride back. Even when we went to go to the doughnut shop to break up(and there was no question at the time that that is what we were doing) I drove us there and back again. I don't like to argue anyway but lets not do it in public.
I have a bunch of stuff to do today since I didn't do dick all yesterday. So adios for now SG.
