Quote of the day goes to the Ziz. "The wind has it's own racquet." Tonight"s game was particularly half assed because the wind was really taking the birds away. We still had fun. The wife is at her ladies eating thing tonight so we have been on our own. We went and got Ms. Sun signed up for orchestra next year. She is the only bass so far but I'm sure they will get at least another one before the year starts. I got conned into going to this meeting. It was advertised as an open house style thing but when we got there it was a series of presentations and you had to wait for the next one to start every twenty minutes. We spent a while standing around and then got a twenty minute lecture on why not to by crap instruments. I grew up with my dad I have heard the rant about how crap instruments ruin music for kids when they are trying to start. Blah blah blah, I agree and understand but blah get to the part where I sign papers.
Sunday the meeting planted and dedicated a tree to my dad. It was a crab apple tree which is a long standing funny story in my family. They picked a very nice, native to Illinois, "prairie fire" crab apple tree. It actually bloomed that morning and was very cool looking.

So that went fine. The girls played outside all day yesterday because the wife bought them a six dollar inflatable pool. Best six bucks we have spent in a while.
I don't have much else to say. We are having a tornado watch so I should probably get going. Have fun SG.
