Blah this week has sucked donkey balls. After my chill ass weekend, even if it was only one day, being back at work with all the yelling and bullshit was has been a little taxing. On top of that the restaurant has been slow but banquet side has been busy. That is cool for me because I work bnqts but they have taken this opportunity to train all the newer folks on the line which is great except that it leaves me with no help at all. The last two days I have cooked for more people and made more money than the lunch line by myself. Just because I can do that doesn't mean I like it or that it is a great idea. I did at least get them to understand that I am to busy to come up between parties and play line cook too. Tonight I had the added bonus of covering a dinner station for a guy that called in. The owner was pretty drunk and kept coming back fucking with me," Next time I tell you to hire more night guys maybe you'll listen" I said " I hired three and while you were on vacation two of them fucking quit all ready". Half an hour later he came by, "hey at least your not working pizza station and half price pizza night, oh wait it is half price pizza night ha ha ha..." That was actually one of the high points of my day at least I was laughing for a bit. Tomorrow will be more of the same I have a lunch and two almost identical dinner parties and an app party. I will be there another at least twelve hours. I just keep counting down to sunday because I have two days off in a row. It pays to write the schedule sometimes.
