Lame day at work, Ash Wednesday killed my lunch. I think everyone must have used their lunch hours to go get their for heads thumb printed. Tonight we have to eat Avanti's because of a school fund raiser so hooray I don't have to make dinner. Ms' Sun has a dress rehearsal tonight for her play next week. It was supposed to be yesterday but it changed at the last minute. Everyone was told by Email in the afternoon. I don't Email much and so we sat there for a while waiting before I figured that if we were the only ones there that something must have changed. I know Email is how the world works now but am I really the only person left in the world that is not constantly checking it and updating the world on my every move?
So, with the new band it is imperative that I have a plug -in- able guitar. I can not buy another guitar. None of my guitars are the kind of guitar that you want to change or drill or cut, they are old Martins and so they are perfect just like they are. I searched and listened to videos of tons of pickups and they all sound like crap and most of them require some drilling. I have decided to go with one that can be mounted permanently but doesn't have to be and so requires no changes. It also has a way to adjust the sound both quality and volume wise. If worse comes to worse I will have to sacrifice the D -15 and put in a drilling pickup but I am hoping I have found a decent solution. For 170 bucks it better be passable.
The wife is coming around to be her spring time self again. That is always good news for me. Last night was so fun that she woke up still smiling. Score one for the fat boy. I should be getting ready to do my kid shuffling so peace out SG.

You don't email?! I'm constantly online and my phone gets my emails. I couldn't live without checking it daily. Yes, I'm addicted to technology. How's the guitar stuff coming along?
