I am just killing time before I go to work so I figured I would update a little. I usually don't work Mondays but I have to go cook a political fundraiser dinner tonight. I never get to cook dinners like that for the people I like and this guy in particular runs unopposed every year so who is he raising money to beat? Why raise money to run ads and campaign against no one. Grrr.

So yesterday I got off my ass and took the girls out to play in the woods along with TreeThingBlue and his daughter

TreeThingBlue and his daughter chillin on a bench. This was cute until she started to slip and pulled herself back on by his beard. Ouch.

That was a blast. All of this carrying was spawned by the fact that we instituted the rule of the woods which was "everyone must carry themselves". It was also explained to the chilluns that the reason people live in Illinois is that when they got here in there wagons they were so tired and it was so far that they just decided to say "screw it we'll just live here, the mountains are too far away". A little revisionist history never hurt anyone.

The next two weekends I will be left alone. This weekend my ladies are going to Wisconsin to a wedding. The wife's dad was supposed to stop by here and get them and then split the hotel room with them. Now it sounds like he isn't doing either of those things. I don't know how we are going to pay for all that but dresses have been bought and rs's have been vp'd so the show will go on. Next weekend they are going to Kansas to see old friends. I would like to go to that one but I have to work. So what will I do with myself on two bachelor weekends? That remains to be seen.
