What a weekend. The wife came home early from her retreat because of a suddenly deceased Grandma. That is a bummer. So while she slept all day sunday TreeThingBlue and I took our daughters to the nature reserve. It was a blast and I'm sure that he will post some pics mostly because there is one of me busting my ass whilst removing my youngest from a mud whole. We had a great time and it was good to run the girls and to get my fat ass out of the house on what turned out to be a nice day for it. Today I finally mowed my grass, I wasn't the last but it was getting down to just me and the lazy teen age neighbor so I had to break down, mostly because by the time I get another day off I would need a combine to do my yard with all the rain we've been getting. It has been nice to have a real spring for a change even if everyone is bitching about the rain. Tonight I am grilling Lamb racks for dinner, I have to tell the girls it is beef or they won't eat it. I am ok with that little white lie. Ever since I made lamb the same day some fool brought lambs to school to pet and love on they look at me in horror when I cook lamb. I am off to see MR while the girls are still playing out side. Have fun SG

I almost forgot the worst part of all. I went with Ms. Sun and the wife to eat Indian Buffet for lunch and it was closed. Not just closed, out of business. Fuck! We went to the other place but it sucks balls compared to the good one and it was like 40 bucks for three of us. This State Farm hell hole can't support anything but bullshit chain restaurants. The other indian place caters to boring people, nothing is spicy and they used chicken breast for everything instead of whole chickens and their lamb josh was orange and tasted likes cambells tomato soup. Grrr. They turned the good Chinese buffet into a yuppie place the good pizza place got run out of down town when they made it Uptown as did Harold's Chicken Shack. Now my Indian place is gone. Pretty soon it's just gonna be all TGIApplebackgardenOkelly's puke. Support your local restaurants, if you live in a place with a good food culture like Denver, Portland, Memphis, New York, Phillie, Kansas City,et al... eat that shit. When I lived in Boulder the only chain food I hate was once a month KFC and that is because I was an addict. I would float a weekend check for some fried chicken. It bums me out to see good places go down due to lack of interest when there are nine Mcds in this town. All right, that was my rant, I try to be positive on here but that had to come out.
