This afternoon, the US plays Mexico in the final of the Gold Cup. It is in English on FSC (Fox Soccer Channel, which I've never heard of and don't have access to) and in Espanol on Univision. Why is it so hard to find coverage of a fairly important soccer event? ABC and ESPN show friendlies, but have no coverage of the Gold Cup, Algarve Cup, and other tournaments.
I am sure that it was a conspiracy that kept the US beating Canada in the semifinal off of US tv. Damn sneaky Canadian government!
Update: The match was apparently blacked out on Univision here.

UFC is pretty interesting. Boxing, martial arts and wrestling all in one. Rather gladiatorial. And I like it so much better than its competitor, Pride. Pride fighters are out for blood where as almost every UFC fight you see, even when there's bad blood between fighters, they almost always hug / shake hands / help the other guy up in every bout. There seems to be a modicrum of honor in them that you don't see in Pride.
And I think you may be right... 4 year olds may actually be more mature...
