After a Thanksgiving dinner (mostly prepared by my mother) at my grandmother's house conssiting of turkey, dressing, gravy, green beans, pinto beans, cranberry sauce, sweet potato souffle (which I don't eat), and chocolate cake; and a visit to my great-aunt's house, I went to a Gwinnett Gladiators' game.
Maximus, the Glads' mascot, greets young fans.
Opening face-off.
Early action. The Gladiators are in white.
The Glads lit the lamp often. Like eight times.
Maybe Chris Holt, the Checkers goalie, would have had better luck at frozen turkey bowling.
Wonder what they could be talking about?
Oh.
Dave Caruso; the Glads goalie from Roswell, Georgia; makes a great save. A penalty shot is called.
He stopped that, too. After giving up two early goals, he was unbeatable.
Giving up eight goals is a lonely feeling.
