I got a 28 cent an hour raise on my last paycheck. I guess I should have bought a stick of gum to celebrate. 
There was an unexplained bonus of 160 odd dollars. If bonuses become more frequent, I guess I could handle the puny raise.
I finally managed to remove the Bow Wow Wow CD from the computer.
I'd forgotten how good some of those songs were. I really couldn't remember anything beyond I Want Candy offhand before buying the CD.
The Falcons kinda sucked last night, but the kicker didn't miss and they managed to beat the Pats. I'm glad that football is back. Before you know it, they'll be cranking up the zambonis and hockey will be back.
The Dresden Dolls are coming to ATL on a Tuesday in October. I'll have to wait a while before I can try to buy a ticket. I have things to do before then. Weeknight concerts suck, but if there are tickets remaining I'll buy one.
My mother wants to go to the Georgia Aquarium in 2 weeks for her birthday. That should be nice. I've been to aquariums in Gatlinburg, TN. and New Orleans; and I enjoyed both.
I'm not really sure what to do with my 4 day weekend next week. I'd planned to watch the Falcons practice next Thursday, but it's been so hot lately. And if it rains, they practice inside and you go home. I might eat out and catch up on movie watching on one of the days.
Mainly, I want to relax this weekend. And get a few thing done.
