Today is Australia Day - I'm not yet a citizen (still have citizenship in my home country of England), but I like to think that after almost 7 years of living in this amazing country....I can sort of call it home.
And if I can technically call it home....then I'd like to let everyone know that I'm damn proud to be able to!!
Moving on...the last couple of days have been pretty hard.
Paddy came home from the hospital last Friday - it's amazing to have him back finally....but he's finding it pretty hard. I guess being able to come home made him think that he can do everything that he normally would...which isn't the case.
His arm is still in a brace as it is still not healed enough for him to put any weight through it. Because of this, he is unable to use crutches for his amputated leg, so he's stuck in this stupid wheelchair that really frustrates him.
He's had a few moments of weakness where he's been very upset/distressed about his injuries, and there isn't a thing I can do to make him feel better about it. I know that he has to go through all of these emotions, but it is hard to watch. It's also pretty hard on my emotions when he gets SO frustrated that he's very rude and angry towards me....at the moment I cannot do a single thing right.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow, as Scotty and I are going to catch up...have a bit of a girly morning with a movie and lunch. It's going to be nice to be out doing something 'normal', as I haven't had that since the accident. The floods have kept the two of us apart for a bit longer than planned, too...super excited to be seeing her again
I've just got a new computer too, and have figured out how to get some decent self-shot images off of my camera so I shall be updating photo albums soon....and with this new computer I'm once again able to get online with ease to update my SG more often
Also....I will be shooting a new set in the next month...something a bit more 'me' than my last one. Something I'll be a lot more comfortable with. Keep your eyes peeled xxx

I guess it would be hard, watching your B/F have to deal with all that.
