I had the best day today
There's this show every year in Brisbane called the 'Ekka', which is The Royal Brisbane Show Day. Basically it's a HUGE 10-day festival for all things country and awesome
Think lots of cows, horses, sheep, goats, ducks, hens, roosters, sheep-shearing competitions, wood-chopping competition, cowboy hats, monster trucks, rides, bright lights, heart-attack style food, fairy floss (cotton candy to you Americans), and showbags!! It is a LOT of fun!!
Anywho, I was doing a little bit of promotional work there for a friends beef jerky company - Geronimo Jerky.
Today was the official Brisbane Public Holiday for the show, so it was a pretty busy one. I was accompanied by the beautiful Scotty and we rocked that show handing out our free beef jerky samples!!!
My legs and feet are so tired and sore from walking around for 5+ hours....so I'm off to bed - will update again tomorrow with everything else that's been happening!!
