Well, the last few weeks has been kind of a whirlwind. I had an interview with a local chemical manufacturer here in Lafayette last week. Things seemed to go pretty swimmingly there, I hope to hear back from them soon. Today was a phone interview for a position with Cargill in Memphis. The job sounds interesting -- instrument troubleshooter -- and it would be cool to work and live in Memphis. Cargill is certainly a big company and working for a multinational has it advantages, like unlimited promotion, travel, educational benefits, blah de blah blah. (Beats the hell out of flippin' bungers.)
I am kind of torn between work and school right now because I am so used to having money. If it is the root of all evil, I am at least comfortable in my evil. I dig new shit, what can I say? I have this tech addiction that I have had to put on hold and I really want a damned iPhone. That would be chickenfeed at the rate I would be making at Cargill. I don't know, I am usually pretty descisive, but I am vacillating about this whole work v. school thing.
