What is your favorite word?
Ephemeral - I first heard it in a spoken word/song called Eight by La Dispute. I thought it was a really pretty word and good reminder that things in life are ephemeral in nature and nothing, good or bad, lasts forever.
What is your least favorite word?
Phlegm - just the thought of it kind of turns my stomach. Ick!
What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
When I'm having trouble processing emotions it turns me on creatively. Art, projects, crafts, DIY are all ways I've learned to process emotions that I otherwise don't know how to handle. I did art therapy for about six months and I loved it. And the practice also helped improve my art. One thing I'd like to delve more into in the future is mandala drawing. I've free handed some pretty cools ones, but I'd love to know more the math behind it!
Spiritually, the outdoors definitely. The ocean is my favorite or a nice hike in the woods where I can bring along my camera and document things that move me. Just being about to breathe deep some fresh air always revives my spirit.
What turns you off?
Expectations of others that are forced upon me is a huge turn off. Whatever the intention might be, I don't like feeling pressured to do things that I feel aren't in my best interest. I think professionally pressure can be good, I thrive on being competitive in areas of my life. But when people hold expectations about my behavior, looks and relationships it's discouraging for me and the person I'm trying to become.
What is your favorite curse word?
Fuck is my favorite curse word. At least it's definitely the one I use the most. It's so versatile. It can be used as an infixation such as: un-fucking-believable. Which is not a common thing in the English language!
What sound or noise do you love?
Running water, it's so peaceful, it may be cliche but those running river or ocean wave tracks they play during massage are my favorite!
What sound or noise do you hate?
Crying/screaming children, it's like nails on a chalk board. It motivates me to figure out the cause of the distress and try to alleviate it.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
When I was younger I wanted to be something in a science heavy field: astrologist or physicist were my top choices. I wouldn't mind having an opportunity at those field again. I also think I'd really enjoy a job in a marketing field.
What profession would you not like to do?
I'm not a huge fan of retail careers. They don't inspire me, at least the positions I've held.

I love the sound of water too. I'm actually happier on cloudy rainy days.

I love lots of words, but my favourite is one that is completely pointless - yet it exists, and it is: 'Panduriform', which means 'Violin shaped'. I also love the word 'Petrichor', which describes the refreshing smell of the ground following rainfall. 'Kenopsia', which describes the eerie feeling of a place that has been teeming with people, but is now empty. It can apply to ruins, etc., but equally to offices, shopping malls, railway stations, etc, which are empty at night. The only word I really hate, is the British colloquialism, 'Loo', meaning toilet, WC. whatever. It's so childish, but people here (not being sexist, but it's mainly women - men are apt to use coarser epithets, like 'Bog', 'Khazi', or even 'S**thouse'.) 'Loo' is a corruption of the French phrase "Gardez l'eau!", which, was used to warn passers-by that a chamber pot was being emptied into the street from an upstairs window, as generally was the custom in cities prior to the early 19th century. And we complain bitterly about bird droppings today!
