This is just an update on my dog Scrappy. He seems to be doing pretty good. His appetite is back, and we're back to our usual race around the neighborhood when we go for our walks. He even barks again! He's pretty old--going on 14--so I don't expect he'll ever act like a puppy again, but it's good to have him back to almost normal. smile

awww, good to hear smile

My dog Scrappy seems to be hanging in there. His appetite is still not like it used to be, and he only eats hamburger out of my hand. Hamburger doesn't contain all of the nutrients he needs, so I'm going to ask the vet for some vitamins. He'll probably always have the head tilt, but his walking is much better. It's the watch and wait...

Sorry to hear about your dog frown

My scooter is going well. I've only tooted at a few people and only had one lady pull the fingers at me. I should probably learn the road rules.

Dismal day! Sometime last evening my dog Happy Scrappy had a stroke. I rushed him to the vet, and the vet gave him a shot of cortisone to relieve the pressure on his brain plus some meds to ease his anxiety. Poor little pooper wouldn't eat anything till I gave him some chicken soup. He's old, so this isn't a surprise. Like me, he's just...

well, i plan on putting an audio intro onto a set soon (although probably not on the one that's waiting to go up). so people can hear my silly english accent (and maybe a laugh or two).

I'm having dreams about cold, wet, dismal weather. I can't remember the last time it rained and I can't remember the last time I didn't go home while the weather was enough to melt you. Brisbane would be slightly cooler but more humid, I'm sure - being about 1,200 miles North. surreal
I'm hoping that at some stage those spinning wheels will find some traction. Of course, to do that they have to be on the ground in the first place.

We made it back from Sarasota last Tuesday night, and I had a sore butt and aching back from the trip. Sitting all cramped up in a Jimmy for 12 hours must not be my cup of tea!

I had fun at the fair, and as usual ran into several people I knew from other fairs. I even saw one of my old workmates from...

I'm going to be in Sarasota for a couple of weeks. My brother and I will be working at our kid's wooden swords and shields booth at a Medieval Festival there. Not having been there before, I should have fun sightseeing during our days off. The weather has to be better there than here in Michigan. smile

I want a wooden sword! I would use it to battle cats and possums! On guard, rawr!! kiss

Halloween was a little disappointing this year. Every year I look forward to handing out candy to the little beggars, but this year I don't think I had half as many as I had last year. Zeriah was right, I think. It was too cold last night for the kids to be out. Another thing I noticed was that the trick-or-treaters didn't get out until...

Crummy SNOW! And on the 12th of October for pity sake! I don't need to bust out the snow shovel yet, but it sure is depressing to look at all of that miserable white stuff. My daughter in Oz might miss it, but I never look forward to it.

Now, it has it's place, during the Christmas and New Year's holidays, but that's it!

Why,...

I wish it snowed here! We might get some during winter if we're lucky, but it never settles or looks pretty.

I spent the weekend with my brother and sister working our booth at a little renfair in Fishers, Indiana, down by Indianapolis. It was a wonderful crowd, and I enjoyed myself immensely. Despite dire weather forecasts, we had beautiful weather. The sky was sunny and blue, and the temperature was in the 70's both days. The only time we ran into rain and hail was...
