After four weeks this miserable chicken pox revisited seems to be dissipating. Mobility is returning to my arm, though it's still weak. The pain persists, though much less than it was. It was irritating not being able to even get the tube of toothpaste from the medicine cabinet with my right hand. Now I can grasp the tube and squeeze it to my heart's delight. The rash is still there, but that should go away eventually. Nasty stuff!
Shingles usually hits people over 50, but I've known it to srtike some in their 40's. If you catch it within 72 hrs you can get a shot that keeps it from getting too bad. I didn't know what was going on, and being a typical male, I didn't go to the doctor until almost a week had passed. I got to enjoy the full effects of this crappy stuff. Fortunately, once one gets this, one is immune to it from then on.
