Dismal day! Sometime last evening my dog Happy Scrappy had a stroke. I rushed him to the vet, and the vet gave him a shot of cortisone to relieve the pressure on his brain plus some meds to ease his anxiety. Poor little pooper wouldn't eat anything till I gave him some chicken soup. He's old, so this isn't a surprise. Like me, he's just marking time. The vet wasn't too optimistic he'll recover. These next few days will tell the tale.
