I spent the weekend with my brother and sister working our booth at a little renfair in Fishers, Indiana, down by Indianapolis. It was a wonderful crowd, and I enjoyed myself immensely. Despite dire weather forecasts, we had beautiful weather. The sky was sunny and blue, and the temperature was in the 70's both days. The only time we ran into rain and hail was on our trip home Monday.
Of course, the highlight of the fair was all of the pretty girls, some in costume and some not. I got my picture taken quite often by the patrons, and that is always a boost to the old ego.
Our booth did very well, and we just about sold all of our stock. Because this was our first time at this fair, we didn't know what to expect, and everything exceeded our wildest speculations. All I can say is, "Thanks, everybody in Fishers! You are a wonderful bunch of people!"
