charlatan

I am surrounded. Caught in the middle while I watch from the outside. People talking to me about things. Prblems, regrets, just talking because I am easy to talk to. I love it. I love being trusted. I love thinking that my perspective is thought by some to be rational, thoughtful, in perspective.

If I could provide that same bit of levity and clarity to my own life, oh baby!

My mother is sick. There is something wrong with her heart, it seems. No one knows what it is. She is 54 and one of the most amazing people I've ever met. I'm not saying that because she is my mother, either.

I could list her professional accomplishments the things she has done, has created. But it would seem like grandstanding and frankly its a long list of what was, basically, volunteer work.

I could divulge her amazing faith. Her strongest trait. Her tales of experience. Memories she recalls that when spoken by another to another they are written off but coming from her they weigh heavy with the truth.

I'm sure she will be fine. She has gone through worse with her health. I just worry like a son should, I guess.

I'm still happy, though.
